Director of CREEC’s CA office Julie Wilensky was recently selected by the Daily Journal as one of 2016’s Top 40 Under 40 lawyers in California. In a profile published on May 18, the Daily Journal highlighted Julie’s litigation and advocacy on behalf of LGBT people in employment and employee benefits cases. Julie commented that “while issues involving recognition of same-sex marriage will eventually resolve, employment discrimination remains a huge problem for LGBT people,” and that “this is especially the case for those who are transgender or gender non-conforming, who experience high rates of harassment or mistreatment at work.”
