Please join us in welcoming AP summer extern Molly O’Hara!

Picture of Molly O'Hara. Molly is a person with pale skin and brown curly hair which is short. She is wearing earrings, a dark blazer, and a white shirt. She is smiling. The background is blurry but shows a tree and the side of a building.

Molly is a rising 3L at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she was a Steering Committee member for the 2021 DU Civil Rights Summit. She joins CREEC to work on the Accessibility Project, where she will further her experience leveraging civil rights law for marginalized communities. Molly says, “I am honored to be a part of the Accessibility Project this summer and look forward to learning from the powerful advocates at CREEC.”

This past spring, Molly interned at Rathod Mohamedbhai LLC. In Summer 2020, she interned at Colorado Legal Services in the Housing Unit, where she interviewed and assisted clients, often working at the intersections of housing and disability justice.

Prior to law school, Molly worked in special events, account sales, and operations management for brewing companies. Molly graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Political Science and a Minor in Environmental Studies. From Vermont to Colorado, she has honed skills as an avid outdoorsperson, with experience in hiking, skiing, and camping. She loves to cook and brings the newest addition to the CREEC canine team, Sammi.

Close-up photograph of brown dog, Sammi. Sammi is lying on the floor with her paws crossed. The floor is carpeted. Behind her is a navy couch with many pillows, a table, and a window.

Sammi is 8 years old and is loving retirement. She can usually be found basking in the sun, waiting for food to fall on the floor.
