CREEC and co-counsel have filed several lawsuits arguing that major hotel owners/operators were discriminating against individuals with mobility disabilities in the provision of hotel shuttle transportation.
CREEC and co-counsel represented six music fans who used wheelchairs in a class action suit against the City and County of Denver for failure to make reasonable accommodations to allow people who use wheelchairs to access and enjoy Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
In 2014, the Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition filed suit against RTD on the grounds that its light rail vehicles were not accessible to riders who use wheelchairs. CREEC joined the case in early 2016 to assist with settlement negotiations. The case settled in late 2016, and the Court granted final approval of the class action settlement on July 11, 2017.
