CREEC is collaborating with our friends at the Colorado Association of the Deaf and the Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition to investigate hospital and doctor’s office policies for providing interpreters. If you are deaf or hard of hearing and have had an experience with a doctor or hospital that
- refused to provide an interpreter when you requested it;
- refused to provide other necessary aids or services to communicate with you; or
- failed to provide effective communication (i.e., quality of interpreting services)
we would like to talk with you. You can email us at testing@creeclaw.org or visit our Hospital and Doctor Interpretation Investigation page.
Please help us get the word out!
