DOJ Files Statements of Interest in NAD v. Harvard and NAD v. MIT Cases

Yesterday, the Justice Department filed Statements of Interest in both of our online captioning cases — National Association of the Deaf, et al., v. Harvard University, et al., and National Association of the Deaf, et al., v. Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The DOJ Statements support the Plaintiffs’ position that Harvard and MIT’s free online courses and lectures discriminate against Deaf and hard of hearing individuals by failing to provide equal access in the form of captions.

Thanks so much to the Department of Justice!
