Scott v. City and County of Denver

This lawsuit, filed in January, 2012, challenged the failure of the City and County of Denver to provide sign language interpreters and other accommodations to a deaf detainee of the Denver Sheriff Department.   CREEC co-counseled with Carrie Ann Lucas of the Center for Rights of Parents with Disabilities.     The case settled in May, 2013, based on an offer of judgment; we are currently litigating the question of attorneys’ fees.   (These documents are linked as filed.   For accessible versions of inaccessible files below, please contact us directly.)
